Policy
We aim to treat all our customers as we would like to be treated. Your statutory rights covered by the consumer protection law are not affected by anything here.

Communication
We will automatically confirm your orders receipt and confirm the dispatch of the order by email. We will contact you if there are any issues with your order. We may also communicate with you occasionally to make you aware of any latest news or special offers that we may have. If you would like to opt out of receiving these communications then please let us know by contacting us on the email or telephone number above.

Complaints
Should you be unhappy in any way with any aspect of the service or products you receive from us then please contact us and we will do everything reasonable to resolve any issues.

Payment
Through the website we accept immediate payment using Credit or Debit Card, Apple Pay & Google Pay.

Discounts and Promotional Special Offer Codes
Any Discounts and Promotional Special Offer codes issued by Sunflowerstitches are to be used against the purchase of products only. These may be withdrawn by Sunflowerstitches at any time. Only one Discount or Promotional Special Offer code can be accepted on any order. It is the responsibility of the customer to enter the appropriate code at the time of purchase, as failure to use the available codes cannot be rectified after the purchase has been completed. If you should have any queries relating to any purchase with Discount or Promotional Special Offer codes, please contact us prior to your purchase and we will be happy be to assist.

Supply of goods
When you purchase something from us we aim to dispatch on the same working day for orders placed before 3pm. We aim to have the stock levels as accurate as possible on the website, but in the unlikely event that we cannot dispatch your order with the stock we have at hand we will contact you and give you an estimate of delivery time and the option of splitting your order or receiving a refund. We make every effort to describe the goods accurately on the website.

Fabrics
All patchwork fabrics are 100% cotton with a nominal width of 112-114cm (42″-44″) unless stated otherwise. We endeavour to provide as accurate an image as possible for the fabric. If you require further assistance on colour matching, then please contact us via our email address or phone number above.

Returns Policy
If the goods purchased from us are faulty or defective in any way then we will either replace them or refund you. If you have bought something that you decide that you no longer require and it is within 14 days of purchase, please return the goods in their original condition to us and we will refund back to you the costs of the goods. We may take up to 7 working days from your return arriving here to process your refund.

Delivery Charges
The delivery charges are £3.95 for first class and £2.95 for second class. Orders over £50 are sent free of charge. We will post worldwide, however please contact us to confirm the cost of postage. If you would prefer to have your order sent via recorded delivery, then please contact us to confirm the cost of the postage.

Delivery Method
All the products are securely packaged and will be sent out either by Royal Mail using the class you select or by Courier, depending on the weight of your package.

Pricing Errors
If there is a product that is priced incorrectly on our website then we may need to either cancel and refund your order or will contact you to arrange the payment of the additional amount.

Out Of Stock Items
While every effort is made to ensure that the stock on the website reflects the actual levels we have available for sale, sometimes we may not have the item you have paid for on the website. If the fabric is an ‘Almost Gone’ or a remnant then we will refund you for that item and dispatch your order without delay. Otherwise we will contact you to resolve the issue with the lack of stock and will offer an alternative or a refund. We will place your order on hold while we wait to hear from you.

Legal Aspects
Any contract for your purchase of goods and services from Sunflowerstitches is governed by the Law of England and Wales, and you agree that such contract will be subject to the non exclusive jurisdiction of the England and Wales courts.

Privacy Policy

Sunflowerstitches does not disclose buyers’ information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Cookies are used on this shopping site where they are strictly necessary for the site functionality. They are used to aid navigation, and to keep track of the contents of your shopping basket. If you log in to an account, your logged-in status is recorded in a temporary cookie. If you select the ‘Remember Me’ Option in the checkout, a cookie will be used to remember your details. You can turn off cookies by blocking them in your browser Privacy settings. If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that use them.

To help us improve our website and tailor it to our customers needs we use Google Analytics and collect a limited set of site statistics. These do not contain personal information.

Data collected by this site is used to:
a. Take and fulfil customer orders.
b. Administer and enhance the site and service.
c. Only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes.

We may use your email address supplied to us to keep you informed about new arrivals, special offers and company newsletter. You may opt out of this at any time by emailing us or using the contact form on the website.
You acknowledge and agree to be bound by the terms of our privacy policy.

We do not share your data with any other company for any marketing purposes and will not do so. Information about you as a customer and the orders you have placed is held in our database. We can, if you require, supply a copy of all the data we hold about you and are happy to remove your details from our system should you request that we do so. You may receive notifications for delivery purposes only from our delivery partners, this information is not used by them for marketing purposes.

We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties.

Workshops

Payment Policy
We recommend you only make a booking if you know you are able to attend the course, please check your availability carefully, once you make your booking and pay in full for a course, our Cancellation Policy will apply.
Payment can be made by bank transfer or by sending a cheque.
Full details for payment will be sent on receipt of your booking form.

Terms
Full payment is due upon booking your place on the class. For cancellations with less than 2 working days (48 hours’ notice), no refund will be given. For cancellations with between 3 and 14 working days’ notice 50% will be refundable. More than 14 days’ notice then full refund will be given. This allows us adequate time to re-advertise the space.
Sunflowerstitches reserves the right to cancel a workshop. In such cases, a full refund will be issued.

NOTE: Please be advised that a course requires a minimum of three people booked onto it for it to run. A decision will be taken 3-5 days before the class as to whether there are sufficient bookings for it to go ahead and you will be advised at that time if it is to be cancelled. If so a full refund will be issued, or you can transfer to a future course. Sunflowerstitches will not be liable for any materials you have already purchased.

Supplying Materials
Some of our courses include all materials.
If the course you have booked requires you to supply your own items, a list of materials and equipment will be emailed to you once you have paid for your course.

Cancellation Policy
Sunflowerstitches holds the right to cancel or change any advertised course:
In these circumstances Sunflowerstitches will normally arrange an alternative date and offer students either a transfer to this date or, if this date is not convenient, an alternative course. If neither is possible, a full refund will be offered. Travel and/or accommodation expenses will not be compensated for. Please ensure you have adequate travel, hotel and course cancellation insurance cover.

In the unlikely event that the advertised tutor is unable to teach the class:
Sunflowerstitches will substitute another appropriately qualified tutor.

In the event of unfavourable weather conditions:
Sunflowerstitches will make the decision to cancel a class if we consider it unsafe to access the local main roads surrounding our workshop in Ash. If you are attending a regular weekly class or a multiple day workshop that has already begun, a ‘catch up’ date will be arranged. If you are booked onto a One Day workshop that has not yet started Sunflowerstitches will offer students either a transfer to an alternative date, a transfer to a different course or the option to receive a full refund of the course fee that you have paid.

If our class locations are unaffected by bad weather but you are unable to attend a course because of the conditions local to you, unfortunately we will not be able to offer an alternative date or refund.

Travel and/or accommodation expenses will not be compensated for. Please ensure you have adequate travel/hotel insurance cover.
