Payment Policy

We recommend you only make a booking if you know you are able to attend the course, please check your availability carefully, once you make your booking and pay in full for a course, our Cancellation Policy will apply.

Payment can be made by bank transfer or by sending a cheque.
Full details for payment will be sent on receipt of your booking form.

Terms

Full payment is due upon booking your place on the class. For cancellations with less than 2 working days (48 hours’ notice), no refund will be given. For cancellations with between 3 and 14 working days’ notice 50% will be refundable. More than 14 days’ notice then full refund will be given. This allows us adequate time to re-advertise the space. Sunflowerstitches reserves the right to cancel a workshop. In such cases, a full refund will be issued.

NOTE: Please be advised that a course requires a minimum of three people booked onto it for it to run. A decision will be taken 3-5 days before the class as to whether there are sufficient bookings for it to go ahead and you will be advised at that time if it is to be cancelled. If so a full refund will be issued, or you can transfer to a future course. Sunflowerstitches will not be liable for any materials you have already purchased.

Supplying Materials
Some of our courses include all materials.
If the course you have booked requires you to supply your own items, a list of materials and equipment will be emailed to you once you have paid for your course.

Cancellation Policy

Sunflowerstitches holds the right to cancel or change any advertised course:
In these circumstances Sunflowerstitches will normally arrange an alternative date and offer students either a transfer to this date or, if this date is not convenient, an alternative course. If neither is possible, a full refund will be offered. Travel and/or accommodation expenses will not be compensated for. Please ensure you have adequate travel, hotel and course cancellation insurance cover.

In the unlikely event that the advertised tutor is unable to teach the class:
Sunflowerstitches will substitute another appropriately qualified tutor.

In the event of unfavourable weather conditions:
Sunflowerstitches will make the decision to cancel a class if we consider it unsafe to access the local main roads surrounding our workshop in Ash. If you are attending a regular weekly class or a multiple day workshop that has already begun, a ‘catch up’ date will be arranged. If you are booked onto a One Day workshop that has not yet started Sunflowerstitches will offer students either a transfer to an alternative date, a transfer to a different course or the option to receive a full refund of the course fee that you have paid.

If our class locations are unaffected by bad weather but you are unable to attend a course because of the conditions local to you, unfortunately we will not be able to offer an alternative date or refund.
